God of War è stato eletto gioco dell’anno durante gli SXSW Gaming Awards, manifestazione che si è appena svolta ad Austin in Texas. Un altro prestigioso riconoscimento per il gioco di Santa Monica Studio che continua a raccogliere consensi da quando è uscito.
Tra gli altri titoli premiati spiccano Detroit: Become Human per la miglior narrativa e Super Smash Bros. Ultimate per il miglior gameplay.
