Premiere Competitive Pinball Series Convenes for Circuit Championship, as Well as Kicks off Year-End Tournaments
CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Stern Pinball, Inc. has announced the next lineup of upcoming Stern Pro Circuit tournaments for the remainder of 2023.
The Stern Pro Circuit Championship will be taking place at Enterrium in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg on October 18, serving as the conclusion of the previous season of tournaments. With a massive prize pool, the winner of the Circuit Championship will receive a $5000 cash prize as well a brand new Stern Pinball machine, the Stern Pro Circuit belt, and the title “Stern Pro Circuit Player of the Year”.
Alongside this “Super Bowl of Pinball,” the continuation of Stern Pro Circuit’s third season takes renowned players back to a collection of iconic and beloved locations including the West Side Pinball Pop Up, The Pinball Expo in Chicago, Flippers Arcade, The Sanctum and more. NYC Pinball Championships – West Side Pinball Pop Up (October 13-15, 2023)
- Located within walking distance of dozens of the world’s most popular tourist attractions, NYCPC is more than just a pinball tournament – it’s a vacation, pinball gaming convention, and a world-class sporting event tied together into one package. NYCPC has something for every fan of the silver ball, and players of all skill levels.
Pinball Expo Flip Out Tournament – Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel (October 18-21, 2023)
- The Pinball Expo’s main Big Bracket competitive event, with A and B divisions, Classics Certified multi-day event and Womens/Kids Big Bracket tournaments as well. Besides over 400 games to play you can attend seminars, visit the autograph sessions, take a tour of Stern Pinball, enter tournaments, watch tournaments, view special exhibits, and shop at our vendor booths. Also participate in silent charity auctions, raffles, and socialize with other pinball enthusiasts from around the world.
OBX Flippers Fall Tournament – Flippers Arcade (November 3-5, 2023)
- Annual gathering in the picturesque beachside town of Grandy, North Carolina in the Outer Banks featuring a Stern Pro Circuit Event, Classics Charity Tournament and Women’s Pinball Bash.
City Champ – The Flipper Room (November 4-5, 2023)
- San Francisco’s premier match play tournament. The competition will be held over 2 days, qualification on Saturday, and playoffs on Sunday.
24 Hour Final Battle at the Sanctum – The Sanctum – Meriden, CT (November 4-5, 2023)
- The 8th Annual Final Battle is a 24 hour long non stop marathon tournament. Pre-tournament takes place on Friday with a 3-strike knockout tournament open to all to give players a chance to see the games being used and try them out. The main event is a group matchplay format with straight Swiss seeding throughout the event. This is a marathon tournament so there are no finals and anything can happen at the last minute!
Free Play Florida – RP Funding Center (November 17-19, 2023)
- Celebrating ten years of operation, the fan-favorite pinball, arcade, and retrogaming expo is returning to RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL. A three day celebration of the history, artistry, competition, and creation of electronic gaming of all kinds driven by the enthusiastic gamers of the southeast. Over 250 arcades, pinball games, consoles and countless things to learn, play and see.
Continuing its third season, Stern Pinball partners with the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) in producing the premiere competitive pinball circuit in the world. The Stern Pro Circuit is a series of 20 high-level pinball tournaments held throughout the season culminating in the pinnacle event, the Stern Pro Circuit Championship, featuring the top 32 ranked players.
