VANCOUVER, British Columbia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zero Latency BC is excited to announce our new competition,‘Champions of the Undead’, that you’ll be dying to be a part of.
Zero Latency, a leader in immersive virtual experiences, has launched its first-ever global competition powered by HTC Vive, which is on now to Wednesday September 6, with the grand final taking place October 5.
With Zero Latency, players can freely roam the battlefield in a huge arena-like setting, fully transporting them to new worlds, offering a new level of immersion not available anywhere else.
Players around the world will be able to participate in this blood-thirsty virtual reality battle to compete at winning USD $15,000. This could be you taking home this delicious bag of money.
And what do you have to do in order to win?
First of all, you must be over the age of 18 to be eligible for competition entry.
You must kill as many zombies in the Undead Arena to throw your hat in the ring for the top prize. You’ll have a range of weapons in your arsenal, surroundings you can turn into traps, and a team of players.
The twist? You’ll be competing against the top zombie hunters in your region.
You’ll need to kill as many zombies as possible to climb the leaderboard in your region.
But how many regions are there, you ask?
Players will be divided into three sections: America, Europe & Middle East and Asia Pacific.
If you are the top slayer in your region who has shed the most blood on the battlefield, you’ll be invited to visit Las Vegas to compete for the ‘Champion of the Undead’ title.
These players will then go head-to-head with the world’s best slayers in hard mode, where the zombies have multiplied, and the gameplay is more challenging – this level is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
But even the two runner-ups in Las Vegas plus two runners up in each region will receive an HTC VIVE XR Elite worth $1,099 USD to bring virtual gaming to the comfort of your own home.
